IT Track ICNC-FSKD 2015 Call for Papers

ICNC-FSKD 2014 Special Issue on 「Bridging Nature-Inspired Learning and Neural Information Processing」 in Neural Processing Letters (2013 Impact Factor: 1.237)

The purpose of this special issue (SI) is to identify the inherent relationship between Nature-Inspired Learning (e.g., swarm intelligence and evolutionary algorithms) and Neural Information Processing and to bridge these two exciting research areas for building hybrid learning systems with even stronger capability. All papers should be submitted via the journal website  (http://link.springer.com/journal/11063), where templates can be downloaded. In "Editorial Manager" (the submission software used for the journal), select the category "SI: nature-inspired".

IT Track ICNC-FSKD 2015 Call for Papers

We cordially invite you to submit a paper to the Information Technology track in the upcoming 2015 11th International Conference on Natural Computation (ICNC 2015) and 2015 12th International Conference on Fuzzy Systems and Knowledge Discovery (FSKD 2015), to be jointly held from 15-17 August 2015 in Zhangjiajie, China. Topics include (but are not limited to): Communications and Networking, Automation and Control, Software Engineering, Information Security, etc..

(http://icnc-fskd.hnu.edu.cn/). Due to numerous requests, the submission deadline is extended to 15 March 2015.

Zhangjiajie is a city in the northwestern part of Hunan province. Nearby is the Wulingyuan Scenic Area, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and an AAAAA (the highest class) scenic area in China. Towering sandstones mesas, dense forests, and deep ravines form the gorgeous and mysterious natural landscape. With many spectacularly-shaped stone pillars, hidden valleys, seas of cloud, majestic waterfalls, wandering streams, clear lakes, and limestone caves, Wulingyuan is a must-see in China. Avatar, James Cameron』s block-buster movie, did much of its filming in these beautiful mountains.

As with the past ICNC-FSKD conferences, all papers in conference proceedings will be submitted to both EI Compendex and ISTP (ISI Proceedings), as well as IEEE Xplore (all previous ICNC-FSKD conferences from 2005 to 2013 have been indexed in Ei Compendex). Extended versions of selected best papers will appear in an ICNC-FSKD special issue of International Journal on Pattern Recognition and Artificial Intelligence, a SCI-index journal.
