Curriculum planning
To establish a curriculum committee and review our course
content and schedule planning regularly, and plan to develop
a variety of course contents to meet diverse needs of the
students.Apart from professional curriculum planning, we also
regularly invite domestic and foreign scholars and designers
for visiting lectures and speeches, and plan for inter
district elective system. In order to comply with international
teaching, we offer English-taught courses every semester to
be given more opportunities to train graduates for their
language skills and enhance their professional foreign
language proficiencies, to achieve the goal of professional
teaching and research in designing.
Master: A minimum total credits of 36 for graduation, which includes compulsory 16 credits and at least 20 credits for electives, they are as follows:
- Compulsory subject:
Compulsory 16 credits, which include: Seminars (I)(II)(III)(IV) and Integrated design (I)(II) , total 10credits; Thesis 6 credits.
- Electives:
Electives 20 credits, the electives for the first year of admission can not be less than 7 credits and more than 18 credits. Electives are presented in the curriculum flowchart. If it is for the request of research, after receiving consent from advisers, students are allowed to take the courses taught by the adviser, 2 electives (6 credits ) at the most, and can be included in the credits required for graduation.
Ph.D: A minimum total credits of 32 for graduation, which includes compulsory 14 credits and at least 18 credits for electives, they are as follows:
- Compulsory subject:
Compulsory 14 credits, which include: Seminars (I)(II)(III)(IV), total 4 credits; Independent research(I)(II)(III)(IV), total 4 credits; Thesis 6 credits.
- Electives:
General students of the institute should elect no less than 8 credits per semester for the first year, and adult students should elect no less than 5 credits, and should complete at least 18 credits before graduation. The institute initiates at least 12 courses (36 credits) per semester for students』 electives, and in addition, students can take some courses which are consented by their advisers in other colleges.
